The Last House on Mulholland is the story of an iconic home to be built directly under the Hollywood Sign. Surrounded by public park, LHOM will leverage the organic reach of its landmark Los Angeles location to amplify interest on multiple levels.

Philosophy: Design, Environment, Community

Los Angeles has an incredibly deep design legacy. The Last House on Mulholland builds on that legacy.

Challenged by LA’s amazing catalogue of 20th century architecture, LHOM enters the discussion with 21st century considerations. Namely, the responsible integration of the themes of design, environment, community and intelligence. The Last House intends to enrich on all those levels. The Last House will re-define “single family residence.”

For LHOM to be successful it will
— itself become part of the discussion of architecture and design.
— have a positive impact on the environment.
— preserve and enhance the special history of the community.
— improve our understanding and knowledge of how we live and communicate.
